Client Care Manager (CCM) RN
Bay Area, CA • Full-Time • Exempt • Reports to Care Management Director
About the Role
The Client Care Manager (CCM) is a Registered Nurse who serves in a dual-function capacity across two Care Indeed entities:
- Care Indeed Home Care: As a player/coach pod leader, carrying a direct client caseload supported by Virtual Care Coordinators who handle scheduling and administrative tasks. The CCM’s RN licensure brings clinical assessment capability to the non-medical home care model.
- AskVanessa Geriatric Care Management: As the licensed RN clinical lead for Tier 3 (“The Trusted Advocate”) clients, providing comprehensive geriatric care management including medical appointment attendance, hospital discharge planning, specialist coordination, medication reconciliation, crisis intervention, and detailed monthly clinical reports to families. The CCM also provides clinical support for Tier 4 (“Vanessa Personally”) clients under Vanessa’s direct oversight and case leadership.
This dual-function role positions the CCM/RN at the intersection of non-medical home care operations and clinical geriatric care management, two complementary services that serve the same client population. The CCM’s deep clinical knowledge of pod clients creates a natural pathway for families who need or grow into AskVanessa’s higher-acuity care management services.

E. Tier 3 “The Trusted Advocate” Primary Clinical Lead
Target client: Complex medical situations with multiple diagnoses; families experiencing high anxiety or guilt, often following a recent or pending hospitalization or history of readmissions.

Frame your credentials around management consulting
TN visa approval for Client Services Consultants depends on classifying your role under Management Consultant, not a generic service title. Your degree and job offer letter must both reflect analytical, advisory, or strategic consulting functions to satisfy the CBP officer.
Target employers with recent visa filings
Companies that have previously sponsored work visas for consulting roles already understand visa sponsorship processes and documentation requirements. Look for consulting firms and professional services companies with recent visa filings—this experience suggests they're familiar with supporting international talent in client-facing roles. Employers experienced with visa sponsorship are often better equipped to handle the TN visa process for consultant positions, which requires a support letter from the employer and presentation of credentials at the U.S. port of entry or consulate.
Use Migrate Mate to find sponsoring employers
Migrate Mate filters Client Services Consultant jobs by TN visa sponsorship eligibility, so you're not manually sifting through postings from employers unfamiliar with the visa category. Search by role and location to surface companies already prepared to sponsor.
Get your offer letter to specify consulting duties
A vague offer letter is the most common reason CBP questions a TN application at the border. Ask your employer to describe deliverables explicitly: client needs analysis, solution design, or performance benchmarking. Generic phrases like 'client support' can trigger secondary review.
Prepare for scope questions if your role is hybrid
Client Services Consultants often blend account management with advisory work. If your role includes sales quotas or relationship maintenance duties, CBP may question whether it qualifies as consulting. Document the percentage of time spent on analytical and advisory tasks before your port-of-entry appointment.
Understand the Mexican TN consular process differs from Canadian
Mexican nationals cannot seek TN status at the port of entry and must apply at a U.S. consulate. Schedule your consular appointment after your employer finalizes the offer letter and supporting documentation, since appointment wait times vary by location and season.
Client Services Consultant TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Client Services Consultant role qualify for TN visa sponsorship?
Yes, if the role is classified under the Management Consultant TN category. CBP requires that the position involve professional-level advisory or analytical work requiring a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Titles like 'Client Services Consultant' qualify when the actual duties center on diagnosing client problems, recommending solutions, and implementing strategic changes rather than routine account coordination.
How does the TN visa compare to H-1B for Client Services Consultant roles?
The TN visa has no annual lottery and no cap for Canadian citizens, so you can start work as soon as CBP or the consulate approves your application. The H-1B visa requires entering a randomized lottery with roughly a 25% selection rate. For Client Services Consultants with a qualifying offer, TN is faster, cheaper to file, and doesn't carry the uncertainty of an annual random draw.
What documentation does my employer need to prepare for TN sponsorship?
Your employer must provide a detailed support letter on company letterhead that describes your job title, duties, required qualifications, and the professional nature of the role. The letter should confirm your bachelor's degree is in a field directly related to the consulting work. USCIS and CBP both look for specificity: a generic letter describing 'client services' without consulting language is a common source of denial.
Where can I find Client Services Consultant jobs with TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Canadian and Mexican professionals seeking U.S. jobs with TN visa sponsorship. You can search Client Services Consultant roles filtered by TN eligibility, which surfaces employers already prepared to sponsor rather than companies that have never handled a TN application before.
Can I switch Client Services Consultant employers on a TN visa?
Yes, but TN status is tied to a specific employer. When you change jobs, your new employer must either file a new TN petition with USCIS or you must re-enter the U.S. at a port of entry with updated documentation from the new employer. You cannot start working for the new employer until the new TN authorization is in place, so plan your transition timeline with that constraint in mind.
