TN Visa Delivery Lead Jobs
Delivery Lead roles qualify for TN visa sponsorship under the USMCA's Management Consultant or Engineer categories, depending on your background and job duties. Canadian citizens can enter without a cap or lottery. Mexican citizens require a consular appointment. A relevant bachelor's degree and a U.S. employer offer letter are your two non-negotiable starting points.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship in Delivery Lead
Align your degree to the role
TN visa sponsorship hinges on your degree field matching Delivery Lead duties. An engineering or computer science degree supports the Engineer category. A business degree maps better to Management Consultant. Mismatches trigger CBP scrutiny at the border.
Document project scope in your offer letter
Your offer letter must describe Delivery Lead duties with enough specificity to satisfy CBP. Vague language like 'managing projects' gets questioned. Ask your employer to include team size, delivery methodology, and scope of accountability.
Search TN-experienced employers through Migrate Mate
Target employers experienced with visa sponsorship. Migrate Mate filters Delivery Lead roles at companies with recent visa filings, so you're applying to organizations already familiar with work visa processes and support letter requirements.
Prepare for day-of Canadian border processing
As a Canadian, you apply for TN status directly at a U.S. port of entry. Bring your offer letter, degree transcripts, and your credential evaluation if your institution is outside North America. CBP officers adjudicate on the spot, so your documents must be self-explanatory.
Understand how Mexican TN processing differs
Mexican citizens apply at a U.S. consulate, not the border. Schedule your visa appointment early since consulate wait times vary significantly by city. Your employer's offer letter and your degree credentials are reviewed before you receive the TN visa stamp.
Confirm your employer can support annual renewals
TN status is granted in one-year increments and requires renewal. Before accepting an offer, confirm your employer is prepared to issue updated support letters annually. Gaps in sponsorship support can interrupt your ability to continue working legally.
Delivery Lead TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Delivery Lead role qualify for a TN visa?
It depends on how the role is classified. Delivery Lead positions that involve directing technical project delivery can qualify under the Engineer or Management Consultant TN category, depending on your degree and the job duties described in your offer letter. The title alone does not determine eligibility. CBP evaluates the substance of the work and whether your credentials match.
How does the TN visa compare to H-1B for Delivery Lead jobs?
TN has no lottery, no annual cap for Canadians, and no multi-month USCIS processing wait. You can enter the U.S. the same day you're approved at the border, assuming your documents are in order. H-1B visa requires lottery selection, an I-129 petition, and a waiting period before you can start work. For Delivery Lead roles that qualify under TN, the TN route is significantly faster to activate.
How can I find Delivery Lead jobs that offer TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter Delivery Lead roles by TN visa sponsorship, so you're only seeing employers who have already indicated they'll support the filing. That filters out the back-and-forth with companies unfamiliar with TN requirements and gets you to actionable opportunities faster.
What documents does my employer need to provide for TN sponsorship?
Your employer must provide a detailed support letter on company letterhead. The letter should state your job title, describe your Delivery Lead duties in specific terms, confirm the professional category you're filing under, and indicate whether the position is permanent or temporary in nature. For TN purposes, the role must be described as temporary even if it's an ongoing position.
Can I switch employers while on a TN visa as a Delivery Lead?
Yes, but you must obtain new TN authorization before starting work with the new employer. Your TN status is tied to the sponsoring employer named in your original petition. Canadians can apply at the border with a new offer letter. Mexican citizens need a new consular appointment. There is no grace period built into TN the way H-1B has a 60-day window.
