Pay range for this position is $37.22 - $48.42/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.
Position Summary: The RN Surgery Scheduler combines the administrative duties of a surgery scheduler with the clinical expertise of a registered nurse allowing for more comprehensive care and support to patients and medical staff. The RN Surgery Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures and is a vital position that helps ensure the smooth operation of surgical services and the best possible care for patients that is appropriate to the ages of patients served.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Licensure/ Certification: IL Reg Nurse License
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure by being proficient in typing, having excellent computer knowledge using multiple computer systems concurrently.
- Professional phone skills and etiquette as well as strong background knowledge of medical terminology is required.
