Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as a Wellness Manager
Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
TN approval depends on your degree matching the wellness role's requirements. A kinesiology, health promotion, or public health degree strengthens your case significantly more than a general business degree with wellness experience attached.
Target employers with dedicated wellness programs
Large self-insured employers, hospital systems, and corporations with formal employee wellness departments are far more accustomed to supporting TN sponsorship than small clinics or boutique fitness studios that rarely hire internationally.
Request a specialty occupation confirmation in writing
Before accepting an offer, ask HR to confirm the role requires a qualifying degree. Wellness Manager titles sometimes get posted broadly; a written job description specifying degree requirements protects your TN filing if CBP asks questions at the border.
Use Migrate Mate to find TN-eligible roles
Search Migrate Mate to identify Wellness Manager positions at employers experienced with visa sponsorship. Filtering by companies with recent visa filings saves weeks of outreach to organizations unfamiliar with sponsoring work visas. For Canadians, once you've identified a qualified role, the employer prepares a support letter that you present directly at the U.S. port of entry—no government application required. For Mexicans, the employer provides a support letter for your consulate application. Either way, you'll know upfront that the employer understands the visa sponsorship process.
Prepare your employer support letter before crossing
Canadian nationals can receive TN status at a port of entry, but CBP officers require a detailed employer letter describing your duties, degree requirement, and employment terms. A vague offer letter is the most common reason for a TN referral to secondary inspection.
Account for Mexican nationals' consular processing timeline
Mexican professionals cannot use port-of-entry TN processing and must schedule a consular interview. Build at least eight to twelve weeks into your start date negotiations to allow for appointment availability and administrative processing at the U.S. consulate.

Find Wellness Manager JobsWellness Manager TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Wellness Manager role qualify for TN visa sponsorship?
Wellness Manager positions can qualify under the TN visa category when the role genuinely requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as kinesiology, health promotion, exercise science, or public health. Roles that accept any degree or no degree at all typically don't meet the specialty occupation standard CBP applies at review.
How does TN visa sponsorship compare to H-1B for Wellness Manager roles?
TN has no annual lottery, no cap for Canadians, and no multi-month USCIS adjudication wait. A Canadian Wellness Manager can receive TN status the same day at a port of entry. H-1B requires lottery selection in April and a October 1 start date at the earliest, making TN a faster and more predictable path for qualifying professionals.
Can a Mexican citizen get TN sponsorship for a Wellness Manager position?
Yes, but the process differs from Canada. Mexican nationals must apply through a U.S. consulate rather than at a port of entry. Mexico's TN allocation is capped at 65,000 per year, and consular appointment availability varies by city. Plan for eight to twelve weeks of lead time between receiving a job offer and your anticipated start date.
Where can I find Wellness Manager jobs with TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It filters Wellness Manager roles by employers with recent visa filings, showing you companies experienced with work visa sponsorship. General job boards don't distinguish employers familiar with visa processes from those who have never sponsored international hires.
What documents does my employer need to provide for my TN filing?
Your employer must provide a detailed offer letter on company letterhead covering your job title, a description of duties, the degree requirement for the position, the employment period, and your compensation terms. For Canadian nationals processed at the border, CBP officers evaluate this letter directly, so vague or generic language frequently results in additional questioning or denial.
