- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Multidisciplinary ICU setting serving neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients
- Advanced critical care technology in use, including ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, CRRT, gastric tubes, and IV infusion pumps
- Cerner EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted DC RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 3 years of ICU experience in a US hospital required
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
- BSN highly desired
- Cerner EMR experience required
- US Social Security Number required
- Date of birth required for consideration
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

- Provides a full range of critical care nursing functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements
- Fulfills patient, family, and community needs across a diverse critical care population
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- CPI certification is mandated for this position
