- Nurse Navigator role within a cardiology unit of a teaching hospital
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
- Responsibilities include patient triage, follow-up phone calls, medication refills, patient teaching, and pharmacy calls

- Active DC RN license required in hand at time of submittal
- Current ACLS and BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac nursing experience required within the last 7 years
- At least 1 prior travel assignment required
- Cerner charting system experience required

- Cardiothoracic experience preferred
- Experience with arrhythmia interpretation, AED use, cardiac arrest/CPR response, and chest pain and hypertension management
- Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
- Flu vaccine required

- No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
