Join our team as a Commercial Class A Driver's License (CDL) Truck Driver. In this vital role, you'll operate tractor-trailers trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, combined with a passion for delivering exceptional service, will ensure our shipments arrive on time while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, refrigerated and non-refrigerated trailers, on over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Plan and follow optimized routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries.
- Transport refrigerated and non-refrigerated goods while maintaining vehicle safety and integrity
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns; document findings accurately
- Communicate effectively with operations manager regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Class A Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated. Copy of up-to-date medical required.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or freight transportation with a focus on route driving.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time navigation adjustments
- Experience with ELD
- No Accidents last 3 years
- Ability to handle logistics cargo handling tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards
- The ability to work long hours on over-the-road routes
