The team is responsible for managing all aspects of regulatory examinations and support for ongoing supervision, which includes coordinating internal stakeholders, preparing for regulatory visits, managing information requests, and facilitating constructive dialogue during the examination process. Tips for Your Vice President Enterprise Sales Job Search
Quantify pipeline and revenue in your resume
VP-level enterprise sales resumes live or die on numbers. Replace vague claims with specific annual recurring revenue owned, average deal size closed, and team quota attainment percentages. Hiring committees at this level expect hard proof of commercial scale.
Tailor your story to segment and motion
Enterprise sales VP roles differ sharply by motion, whether that is named accounts, territory expansion, or partner-led growth. Read each job description for the dominant sales motion and reframe your experience to mirror it before you apply.
Target companies at the right growth stage
Your experience closing eight-figure deals at a mature company may not align with a Series C hiring for a first VP of enterprise. Filter openings by company stage and headcount so your background fits the actual build-or-scale challenge the role demands.
Apply early to roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists vice president enterprise sales openings from across the United States in one place, so you can find roles that match and apply directly to each listing.
Prepare a strategic account plan for interviews
Many VP enterprise sales final rounds include a live case where you build a go-to-market or account penetration plan. Arrive with a working framework tied to the company's actual product, ICP, and competitive position rather than a generic template.
Negotiate total compensation structure, not just base
At this level, on-target earnings, accelerators above quota, equity vesting schedule, and territory definition matter more than base salary alone. Come to final negotiations knowing which levers affect long-term earning potential and be ready to discuss each one directly.
Vice President Enterprise Sales Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies are hiring the most vice president enterprise saless?
The companies hiring the most vice president enterprise saless right now include New York Life, Corpay, and icapital, with the largest share of openings in New York, California, and Illinois, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Demand is concentrated in SaaS and technology companies scaling their enterprise segment.
How many vice president enterprise sales jobs are remote?
About 78% of vice president enterprise sales openings are fully remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the relationship-driven nature of the role that still requires periodic in-person engagement. Fully remote arrangements are most common in SaaS and cloud infrastructure companies where the sales motion is largely digital and executives manage distributed teams.
How do you become a vice president enterprise sales?
Most vice president enterprise sales professionals start as individual contributors in field or strategic sales, build a record of closing large accounts, then move into a frontline manager role overseeing enterprise reps. From there, taking on a director or senior director position that owns a full revenue number and manages managers is the standard path. Executive visibility, board-level communication skills, and a documented history of scaling a team accelerate the transition into the VP title.
Can you get hired as a vice president enterprise sales without prior VP experience?
Yes, candidates can be hired into a vice president enterprise sales role without a prior VP title if they come from a senior director or head-of-sales position where they owned a full enterprise quota, managed a team, and influenced go-to-market strategy. Companies in earlier growth stages often promote strong directors rather than hire externally at the VP level, so applying at seed-to-Series-C companies can be a more accessible entry point.
What does the vice president enterprise sales interview process look like?
The vice president enterprise sales interview process typically runs four to six rounds and includes a recruiter screen, a hiring manager conversation focused on revenue history and leadership philosophy, a panel with cross-functional stakeholders such as marketing and customer success, and a final executive or board-level meeting. Most processes also include a strategic presentation where you build a go-to-market or territory plan for the company, and some add a reference check with former direct reports in addition to managers.
Where can I find and apply to vice president enterprise sales jobs?
You can find and apply to vice president enterprise sales jobs on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from across the United States. Search the available roles, find the ones that match your experience and target company type, and apply directly to each listing that fits.
