Build the Next Stage of Growth at PowerPusher
PowerPusher is looking for a Vice President of Sales to lead our commercial growth strategy and build a scalable, high-performing sales organization capable of more than doubling the business.
This is not a role for someone who simply wants to manage an established sales organization. We are looking for a builder-a hands-on commercial leader who knows how to grow revenue, develop dealer and distributor channels, build strong teams, and create the sales processes and accountability needed to scale an industrial products business.
What You'll Own
- Lead overall sales performance, including revenue, bookings, gross margin, pipeline, market share, win rate, productivity, and forecast accuracy.
- Develop and execute PowerPusher's long-term commercial growth strategy.
- Build and expand our dealer and distributor network, including recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, and territory strategy.
- Accelerate growth across Standard Products, Material Handling, Rail Car Movers, strategic/national accounts, and new markets.
- Develop repeatable strategies for entering new markets, verticals, geographies, and sales channels.
- Lead commercialization of new products, including market strategy, pricing, channel strategy, launch planning, and performance expectations.
- Build a disciplined sales operating system using Salesforce, forecasting, pipeline management, KPIs, scorecards, compensation plans, and regular business reviews.
- Lead, coach, develop, and strengthen the sales organization while creating clear accountability and performance expectations.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and leadership to turn opportunities into scalable commercial solutions.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive sales and commercial leadership experience, preferably within industrial, engineered, durable equipment, vehicle, material handling, or related markets.
- Demonstrated success significantly growing a small or mid-sized business, division, or product portfolio.
- Proven experience building and developing dealer/distributor channels, not simply managing an established network.
- Experience leading direct sales, strategic/national accounts, distribution, and multi-channel go-to-market strategies.
- Strong track record of building sales teams, developing talent, managing performance, and creating accountability.
- Experience commercializing engineered, configurable, or technical products.
- Strong knowledge of CRM, forecasting, pipeline management, pricing, sales compensation, KPIs, and sales operating processes.
- Salesforce experience preferred.
- EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant leadership experience.
The Leadership Style That Fits PowerPusher
Our ideal leader combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You are comfortable working in a nimble, entrepreneurial environment where leaders take ownership, make decisions, solve problems, and hold themselves and others accountable for results.
PowerPusher operates using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), which gives our team a shared framework for setting priorities, creating accountability, solving issues, and executing against company goals.
What Success Looks Like
During your first 12 months, you will establish a reliable commercial operating cadence and forecast, strengthen the sales organization, improve pipeline quality and conversion, increase channel productivity, accelerate revenue and margin growth, and establish a clear execution plan for PowerPusher's long-term growth objectives.
Our Selection Process
We believe great hires are about more than experience alone. Our selection process is designed to understand both a candidate's experience and their natural working style.
Candidates selected to move forward may be asked to complete a Culture Index survey as part of our hiring process. Culture Index helps us better understand workplace behaviors and how an individual's natural strengths may align with the needs of the role and our team.
If you are a commercial leader who enjoys building, scaling, and creating something better-not simply maintaining what already exists-we'd like to hear from you.

Vice President Jobs in Minnesota: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a vice president in Minnesota?
Most vice president roles in Minnesota require a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a relevant field, with an MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred by major employers. Minnesota does not issue a state license specific to the vice president title, so the path is built on deep industry experience, a record of managing large teams, and demonstrated strategic impact. Large Minnesota employers in financial services and healthcare typically promote from director-level roles or recruit candidates with comparable tenure from peer organizations.
Which companies hire vice presidents in Minnesota?
Minnesota vice president roles are posted by Optum, Edmentum, and Mariner Finance and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Minnesota's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters in sectors like financial services, retail, and healthcare makes it one of the more active markets in the Midwest for senior leadership hiring.
Which Minnesota cities have the most vice president jobs?
Minneapolis, Eden Prairie, and Saint Paul account for the largest share of vice president openings in Minnesota. Minneapolis-Saint Paul drives the majority of postings as the home base of major corporate headquarters in banking, health insurance, and retail, while Rochester's concentration of large healthcare and medical-device employers sustains consistent demand in that market, and suburban employment centers like Bloomington add openings tied to regional operations and distribution leadership.
Are there remote vice president jobs in Minnesota?
Yes, and more than most fields, given that vice president responsibilities are often strategic and relationship-driven rather than tied to a physical site. About 81% of vice president openings tied to Minnesota are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how broadly companies have embraced flexible arrangements for senior leadership. Roles in corporate finance, technology product management, and enterprise sales strategy tend to offer the most remote flexibility.
How can I get hired as a vice president in Minnesota with little or no experience?
The most realistic path is moving into a senior director or director-level role first, then building toward vice president over time. Large Minnesota employers such as UnitedHealth Group, U.S. Bancorp, and Target run structured leadership development programs and rotational programs that place high-potential candidates on a track toward executive roles. Candidates from adjacent roles like senior program manager, head of operations, or finance director are consistently competitive. An MBA from a University of Minnesota or other recognized program adds meaningful weight to applications at Minnesota's large corporate employers.
Where can I find and apply to vice president jobs in Minnesota?
You can find and apply to vice president jobs in Minnesota on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers hiring across the state. Search the listings for roles that match your industry background and leadership level, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
