We are seeking a collaborative, collegial leader with a strong track record of building multi-disciplinary teams across the broad areas of architectural, civil, construction and environmental engineering.
Candidates with prestigious achievements in their field and exceptional national and international reputations will be eligible for consideration for significant endowment support through appointment as an Endowed Shelby Distinguished Professor. These Endowed Shelby Distinguished Professors are one of the most prestigious honors bestowed upon faculty at The University of Alabama. The undergraduate programs have a sustained enrollment of nearly 800 students. At the graduate level, the CCEE department also has active MS and PhD programs in Civil Engineering and MS program in Environmental Engineering, with a total sustained graduate enrollment of nearly 120 students.
