Which companies in Arizona sponsor visas for administrative assistants?
Arizona's largest visa-sponsoring employers for administrative roles include Banner Health, Dignity Health, Intel, Honeywell, and Arizona State University. Government contractors and healthcare systems are the most consistent sponsors, as these organizations have established immigration compliance processes. Technology firms in the Phoenix metro, including semiconductor and aerospace companies, also sponsor administrative professionals who support specialized operations.
Which visa types are most common for administrative assistant roles in Arizona?
The H-1B is the most common visa for administrative assistant positions in Arizona when the role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field, such as business administration or communications. TN visas are available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying administrative categories. Some positions are also filled through L-1B intracompany transfers, particularly at large multinationals with Arizona offices.
Which cities in Arizona have the most administrative assistant sponsorship jobs?
Phoenix accounts for the majority of administrative assistant sponsorship opportunities in Arizona, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, healthcare systems, and government contractors. Tucson is the second-largest market, anchored by the University of Arizona, Raytheon, and Banner University Medical Center. Tempe and Scottsdale also have a notable presence, particularly within financial services and technology firms.
How to find administrative assistant visa sponsorship jobs in Arizona?
Migrate Mate filters administrative assistant roles specifically by visa sponsorship status, so you can browse Arizona-based positions without sifting through listings that don't offer immigration support. The platform aggregates openings from healthcare systems, universities, and technology employers across Phoenix, Tucson, and Scottsdale. Filtering by role and state helps narrow results to employers with active sponsorship programs for administrative professionals.
Are there state-specific considerations for administrative assistant visa sponsorship in Arizona?
Arizona's dominant industries shape sponsorship patterns for administrative roles. Healthcare is the largest employer of administrative staff in the state, and Banner Health alone operates dozens of facilities statewide. Arizona State University and the University of Arizona create a consistent pipeline of sponsorship-eligible administrative positions in higher education. The state's right-to-work status does not directly affect visa sponsorship, but employer size and industry matter significantly when assessing sponsorship likelihood.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored administrative assistant jobs in Arizona?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
