Policy Claims Representative II
Position Overview
- The Policy Claims Representative II provides administrative and operational support to insurance customers as part of the In-Force Preneed Claims Team. This role is responsible for processing customer requests, maintaining policy records, and ensuring accurate and timely claim handling, with limited phone interaction.
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work independently while contributing to overall team success. This position also supports departmental initiatives, process improvements, and operational efficiency efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer requests by updating insurance policies and customer profiles accurately and efficiently
- Review and pay Texas death claims in compliance with Texas Department of Banking regulations
- Complete Texas claim reconciliations and related administrative tasks
- Facilitate timely resolution of pending claims and service requests
- Support departmental goals, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
- Share responsibility for achieving team productivity, quality, and service goals
- Generate and maintain productivity and process measurement data
- Identify, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Assist with team projects, cross-functional initiatives, and additional operational processes as needed
- Maintain a high standard of accuracy, professionalism, and customer service in all interactions

Compensation
This is the expected annual base salary range for this Batesville-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
- Base Salary Range: $42,000 to $55,000
