Which companies in Arkansas sponsor visas for project coordinators?
Walmart and its global supply chain network in Bentonville are among the most active sponsors, given the scale of international operations requiring project coordination across technology, merchandising, and logistics. UAMS (University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences) and Baptist Health in Little Rock also sponsor for healthcare project coordination roles, and Dillard's corporate office in Little Rock has a history of sponsoring operational and IT project roles.
Which visa types are most common for project coordinator roles in Arkansas?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for project coordinators in Arkansas, particularly for roles that require a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business administration, information systems, or engineering. TN visas apply to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management or engineering-adjacent coordinator roles. L-1B and L-1A transfers are also used when multinationals like Walmart relocate international employees into project coordination positions at their U.S. headquarters.
Which cities in Arkansas have the most project coordinator visa sponsorship jobs?
Bentonville leads due to Walmart's global headquarters and the dense ecosystem of supplier companies and logistics firms that have established offices nearby. Little Rock follows, driven by state government contractors, healthcare institutions like UAMS and CHI St. Vincent, and defense-adjacent firms. Fayetteville benefits from proximity to the University of Arkansas, which generates demand for research and administrative project coordinators.
How to find project coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in Arkansas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it practical to search for project coordinator roles in Arkansas without sifting through positions that won't support international candidates. You can narrow results by location, such as Bentonville or Little Rock, to find openings at employers with documented sponsorship activity in retail, healthcare, and technology project coordination.
Are there any Arkansas-specific considerations for project coordinator visa sponsorship?
Arkansas's prevailing wage requirements under the H-1B program are set by Department of Labor data for specific metropolitan statistical areas, and Bentonville's Northwest Arkansas MSA has seen wage levels rise as Walmart's supplier network expands. Project coordinators in healthcare must meet UAMS or hospital credentialing standards alongside visa requirements. The University of Arkansas's OPT pipeline also feeds project coordination roles, meaning some employers in Fayetteville are already familiar with sponsoring early-career international hires.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project coordinator jobs in Arkansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
