ROLE
Engineering Coordinator
Overview:
The Engineering Coordinator ensures that all paperwork projects are processed and completed on a timely basis in order of established priorities. Omni Hotel & Resorts is committed to providing an exceptional guest experience that reflects our dedication to hospitality, attention to detail, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Salary range for this position (based on experience): $26/hr. Full-Time Associates at Omni Interlocken are entitled to elect the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits, Medical Disability Pay for Childbirth, 401k, tuition reimbursement, Holiday Pay and Paid Time Off Accrual. Omni Interlocken reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.
Additional associate benefits offered include free meals in Associate Café, golf privileges, discounts at the spa and restaurants, discounted rates at other Omni properties, corporate discounts, continued education opportunities and more.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and respond to telephone requests from guests and general work requests. Assign and dispatch all work assignments through our property management system, Synergy. Place follow up calls with guests to ensure satisfaction of response.
- Maintain Engineering’s inventory and supplies through Birchstreet.
- Maintain records and files such as all preventive maintenance, work requests, fire brigade logs, and vendor work tickets.
- Process requisition orders and distribute paperwork to accounts payable and requesting departments. Ensure all receiving is performed to conform to month end duties.
- Manage daily and weekly payroll, including monitoring time off/late logs and overtime logs.
- Solicit pricing and bid information from vendors for storeroom items, departmental supplies, and certain major projects.
- Set up purchase orders for vendors that have service contracts.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of two years of administrative/office management experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity within a maintenance or engineering department is highly desired.
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office, Synergy, Opera, Birchstreet, Synergy, Dayforce.
This position will be open and posted until filled, with a minimum posting period of three days.
