Which companies sponsor visas for executive assistants in Colorado?
Denver-headquartered corporations with established HR and legal infrastructure are the most consistent sponsors, including Lockheed Martin Space, Charles Schwab, and Dish Network. Large healthcare systems such as UCHealth and SCL Health also hire executive assistants at the senior level. Companies with in-house immigration counsel or existing H-1B visa sponsorship programs for other roles are generally more willing to extend sponsorship to senior administrative positions.
Which visa types are most common for executive assistant roles in Colorado?
The H-1B is the most common pathway, though it requires demonstrating that the executive assistant role qualifies as a specialty occupation, typically by showing the position requires a specific bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field. The O-1A is an alternative for candidates with demonstrable professional distinction. TN visa status covers Canadian and Mexican nationals in certain administrative categories. Each category has distinct employer obligations and documentation requirements.
Which cities in Colorado have the most executive assistant sponsorship jobs?
Denver accounts for the majority of executive assistant sponsorship activity, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 regional headquarters and financial services firms along the 16th Street corridor and the Denver Tech Center. Boulder adds openings through its technology and research sectors. Colorado Springs contributes through defense contractors such as Northrop Grumman and Raytheon, where senior administrative support roles are common at the executive level.
How to find executive assistant visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters executive assistant roles in Colorado by verified sponsorship willingness, saving significant time compared to manually screening general job listings. You can search by role and state to see which Colorado employers are actively hiring administrative professionals who need visa support. Filtering by company size and industry helps identify organizations with the legal infrastructure to process sponsorship efficiently.
Are there state-specific considerations for executive assistants seeking sponsorship in Colorado?
Colorado's HELP Act requires employers to disclose compensation ranges in job postings, which gives international candidates useful visibility into whether a role meets prevailing wage thresholds before applying. The state's strong university pipeline, particularly from University of Denver and University of Colorado Boulder, means competition for administrative roles is meaningful. Candidates with bilingual skills or experience in aerospace, energy, or financial services tend to align well with Colorado's dominant employer sectors.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored executive assistant jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
