Which companies in Colorado sponsor visas for office coordinators?
Healthcare and aerospace employers lead sponsorship activity in Colorado. DaVita, based in Denver, has sponsored administrative and coordinator roles, as has Lockheed Martin Space in Jefferson County and Ball Corporation in Broomfield. Large hospital systems including UCHealth and SCL Health also sponsor office-based administrative staff when candidates hold specialized skills or relevant degree backgrounds.
Which visa types are most common for office coordinator roles in Colorado?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for office coordinator positions when the role qualifies as a specialty occupation, typically requiring a bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field. Some candidates transition from OPT or STEM OPT. The TN visa applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in certain administrative categories recognized under the USMCA agreement.
Which cities in Colorado have the most office coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Denver accounts for the largest share of office coordinator sponsorship openings in Colorado, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, healthcare systems, and government contractors. Boulder adds demand through its technology and research sector. Aurora and Broomfield also have notable hiring activity, particularly from aerospace and energy employers operating regional administrative offices.
How to find office coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify Colorado employers actively sponsoring office coordinator roles. Rather than sorting through postings that don't mention sponsorship, Migrate Mate surfaces positions where employers have indicated willingness to support work visa applications, saving time for international candidates on OPT or seeking H-1B sponsorship.
Are there state-specific considerations for office coordinator visa sponsorship in Colorado?
Colorado employers sponsoring H-1B office coordinators must demonstrate that the role genuinely requires a degree-level qualification, which is a higher bar for coordinator titles than for more technical positions. Colorado's strong university system, including the University of Colorado and Colorado State University, produces local OPT candidates that some employers prefer to hire and later sponsor. Prevailing wage compliance under Department of Labor rules applies statewide regardless of city.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored office coordinator jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
