Which companies in Colorado sponsor visas for service coordinator roles?
Healthcare systems such as UCHealth, SCL Health (Intermountain), and Centura Health have sponsored work visas for service coordinators in Colorado. Nonprofit human services organizations, managed care entities like Colorado Access and Rocky Mountain Health Plans, and behavioral health providers across the Denver metro are also known to sponsor international candidates for coordination roles when qualified domestic applicants are unavailable.
Which visa types are most common for service coordinators in Colorado?
The H-1B is the most common visa for service coordinator roles classified as specialty occupations, typically requiring a bachelor's degree in social work, healthcare administration, or a related field. Some positions at nonprofits may qualify for cap-exempt H-1B sponsorship. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. O-1 sponsorship is rare for this role type.
How to find service coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate filters service coordinator jobs in Colorado specifically by visa sponsorship willingness, so you're not sifting through postings from employers who won't sponsor. Search by role and state on Migrate Mate to see active openings from healthcare systems, nonprofits, and managed care organizations across Denver, Aurora, Colorado Springs, and Fort Collins that have a documented history of sponsoring international workers.
Which cities in Colorado have the most service coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Denver and Aurora together account for the largest share of service coordinator openings in Colorado, driven by the concentration of major hospital systems, managed care organizations, and county human services departments. Colorado Springs has a strong base of behavioral health and disability services employers. Fort Collins and Boulder offer additional openings tied to university-affiliated health programs and regional nonprofit networks.
Are there state-specific considerations for service coordinator roles in Colorado?
Colorado's Medicaid waiver programs, including programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, generate consistent demand for service coordinators and case managers. Employers sponsoring H-1B workers must pay the Department of Labor prevailing wage for the specific role and location, which in Denver metro areas reflects a competitive regional market. A bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a health-related field generally supports specialty occupation classification for this role.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored service coordinator jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
