This role is ideal for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience in hotel sales, catering, event coordination, and revenue generation while working directly with an experienced Regional Director of Sales.

Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Support
- Support the company sales efforts in day-to-day sales activities and account management
- Assist with prospecting, lead generation, and client follow-up
- Coordinate group sales, meetings, local negotiated accounts, and catering inquiries
- Conduct hotel site tours and assist with sales presentations
- Maintain sales systems, CRM databases, reports, contracts, and account activity
- Assist with weekly sales reporting and revenue tracking
Catering & Event Coordination
- Coordinate meetings, catering events, and group details from booking through execution
- Prepare proposals, contracts, rooming lists, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
- Work directly with guests and clients to confirm event details and expectations
- Partner with hotel operations teams to ensure successful event execution
- Communicate event needs effectively with Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams
Professional Development
- Learn hotel sales strategy, business development, and market segmentation
- Gain exposure to corporate, leisure, government, sports, and group business segments
- Develop skills in relationship management, negotiations, and revenue growth
- Receive direct mentorship with a path toward future advancement in hotel sales leadership
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Hospitality, hotel, restaurant, event planning, catering, or customer service experience preferred
- Sales experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Self-motivated, professional, and eager to learn
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment
