Which companies in Florida sponsor visas for product directors?
Several Florida-based companies have a track record of sponsoring work visas for senior product roles. These include UKG (headquartered in Weston), Chewy (Dania Beach), Carnival Corporation (Miami), and Citrix (Fort Lauderdale). Large healthcare systems such as AdventHealth and HCA Florida also hire product directors and have sponsored H-1B petitions. Sponsorship availability varies by team, budget cycle, and hiring need, so confirming directly with each employer matters.
What visa types are most common for product director roles in Florida?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for product directors in Florida, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a relevant bachelor's degree or higher. Candidates with extraordinary achievement may qualify for the O-1A. Multinational managers transferring from a related overseas entity can explore the L-1A. Australian citizens have access to the E-3, which follows a similar process to the H-1B but without the annual lottery constraint.
How to find product director visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa-sponsored roles, and you can filter directly by state and job title to surface product director openings in Florida. Because sponsorship willingness is rarely stated in standard job postings, Migrate Mate surfaces employers with a verified history of sponsoring senior product roles, which saves significant research time compared to browsing general job boards.
Which Florida cities have the most product director sponsorship opportunities?
Miami leads, driven by a concentration of fintech startups, Latin American regional headquarters, and established tech firms. Tampa has grown substantially, particularly in healthtech, logistics software, and financial services. Orlando attracts product leaders in hospitality tech, simulation, and defense-adjacent software. Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton round out the state's major hiring corridors, home to several enterprise software and SaaS companies that recruit internationally.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for product directors seeking sponsorship?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects overall compensation structuring for sponsored employees even though it does not directly impact visa eligibility. The state's strong university pipeline, including the University of Florida and University of Miami, means employers are accustomed to hiring internationally educated candidates. Florida-based employers must still meet DOL prevailing wage requirements tied to the specific metro area where the product director will work, which differs between Miami, Tampa, and Orlando.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product director jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
