Which companies sponsor visas for business development executives in Georgia?
Atlanta-headquartered companies with established immigration programs are the most consistent sponsors for business development executive roles in Georgia. This includes Global Payments, NCR Voyix, Cox Enterprises, and Intellicheck, along with major technology and consulting firms like Salesforce and IBM that have large Atlanta offices. Multinational companies with Georgia operations tend to have HR infrastructure already set up to handle H-1B visa and other sponsorship pathways.
Which visa types are most common for business development executive roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa for business development executives in Georgia, provided the role is structured as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business, marketing, or finance. Some candidates also enter through L-1A visas if they're transferring from a multinational employer's foreign office into a Georgia-based managerial role. O-1 visas are an option for candidates with demonstrated exceptional achievement in their field.
Which cities in Georgia have the most business development executive sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the large majority of business development executive visa sponsorship activity in Georgia, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, fintech firms, and regional corporate offices. Buckhead and Midtown Atlanta are particularly active. Savannah is a secondary market with growing demand tied to the Port of Savannah expansion and associated logistics and manufacturing investment, though sponsorship activity there remains significantly lower than in Atlanta.
How to find business development executive visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and filters business development executive roles in Georgia by sponsorship history and visa type. Beyond browsing the job board, it helps to target Atlanta-based companies with multinational footprints, since these employers are most likely to have existing immigration infrastructure. Reviewing companies' H-1B LCA filings through Department of Labor disclosure data can also confirm which Georgia employers have sponsored similar roles in recent years.
Are there any Georgia-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for business development executives?
Georgia does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements, so federal H-1B rules apply. However, employers must meet Department of Labor prevailing wage standards for the Atlanta or Savannah metropolitan area, which are set based on local wage surveys and directly affect how the role is classified and compensated. Georgia's growing university pipeline, including Georgia Tech and Emory, means employers in the state are generally familiar with sponsoring international talent, which can make the process more straightforward at larger companies.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business development executive jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
