- Maintain accurate account planning, forecasting, and reporting aligned to commercial objectives.
- Promote strong customer relationships through proactive communication, problem-solving, and customer-first engagement.

Which companies sponsor visas for business development executives in Washington?
Microsoft, Amazon, Salesforce, Google, and Oracle have established sponsorship programs for business development executive roles in Washington. Mid-size software and SaaS companies headquartered in Seattle and Bellevue, such as Tableau (owned by Salesforce) and Zillow, also sponsor regularly. Life sciences companies near Bothell and the broader Puget Sound corridor, including companies like ZymoBIOMICS, represent an additional sponsorship channel for executives with relevant sector experience.
Which visa types are most common for business development executive roles in Washington?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for business development executives in Washington, with the role typically qualifying as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. The L-1A is a viable alternative for executives transferring from an affiliated foreign office, and the O-1A applies to candidates with documented exceptional achievement. Australian nationals may also be eligible for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and faster processing.
Which cities in Washington have the most business development executive sponsorship jobs?
Seattle concentrates the largest share of business development executive sponsorship opportunities in Washington, particularly in software, cloud services, and enterprise technology. Bellevue and Redmond are close seconds given Microsoft's headquarters and the dense cluster of technology companies in the Eastside corridor. Kirkland and Bothell carry a smaller but consistent volume of roles, especially in life sciences and medical technology. Tacoma and Spokane see far fewer sponsorship-eligible positions at the executive level.
How to find business development executive visa sponsorship jobs in Washington?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship eligibility, making it straightforward to identify business development executive openings in Washington where employers are actively willing to sponsor. Rather than sorting through thousands of general postings, you can narrow results to Washington state and business development executive titles in one place. Migrate Mate also surfaces employer sponsorship history, which helps you prioritize companies with a demonstrated track record of sponsoring this role type.
What should international business development executives know about working in Washington state?
Washington has no state income tax, which affects how total compensation compares to other states, though this does not change federal tax obligations. Business development executive roles in Washington, particularly in enterprise software, typically require demonstrated experience with complex sales cycles or strategic partnerships, which matters for specialty occupation determinations under H-1B. Seattle's competitive technology hiring market means employers are generally experienced with sponsorship processes, but executive-level roles still require the employer to document the degree requirement clearly for USCIS.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business development executive jobs in Washington?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
