Which companies in Georgia sponsor visas for corporate development managers?
Atlanta-headquartered companies with active M&A and corporate development functions, including Delta Air Lines, The Coca-Cola Company, NCR Voyix, Invesco, and Cox Enterprises, have historically filed H-1B petitions for business and management roles. Larger financial services firms and technology companies with Georgia offices are generally more likely to have established immigration sponsorship programs than smaller regional employers.
Which visa types are most common for corporate development manager roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common work visa for corporate development managers in Georgia. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at minimum a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may also explore the TN visa under the USMCA, while those with extraordinary achievement in M&A or finance may qualify for the O-1.
Which cities in Georgia have the most corporate development manager sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of corporate development manager sponsorship opportunities in Georgia. Buckhead and Midtown host a concentration of financial services, private equity, and corporate headquarters where these roles are most active. Outside Atlanta, Alpharetta has emerged as a secondary hub, particularly for fintech and technology companies with dedicated corporate development teams.
How to find corporate development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify corporate development manager roles in Georgia where employers are open to sponsoring international candidates. Because sponsorship is not always advertised openly, using a platform built around immigration-aware hiring, like Migrate Mate, saves significant time compared to manually screening general job postings.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for corporate development managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Corporate development manager roles in Georgia are subject to the Department of Labor's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B petitions, which are benchmarked to metro Atlanta market rates. Georgia Tech and Emory University feed a strong local talent pipeline, so employers are selective. Candidates with demonstrated M&A transaction experience or CFA credentials tend to be more competitive for sponsorship consideration at Georgia-based firms.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored corporate development manager jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
