Which companies sponsor visas for corporate development managers in Washington?
Microsoft, Amazon, and Boeing are among the most active visa sponsors for corporate development roles in Washington, given their scale and active M&A programs. Expedia, T-Mobile, and Zillow have also sponsored roles in this function. Larger technology and aerospace firms tend to have dedicated immigration teams that manage H-1B and other work visa filings for senior strategic roles.
Which visa types are most common for corporate development manager roles in Washington?
The H-1B is the most common visa for corporate development managers in Washington, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. Candidates with extraordinary achievement may qualify for the O-1A. Australians may pursue the E-3, and Canadian or Mexican nationals may be eligible for TN status under the USMCA.
Which cities in Washington have the most corporate development manager sponsorship jobs?
Seattle and its surrounding metro, including Bellevue and Redmond, account for the overwhelming majority of corporate development manager sponsorship opportunities in Washington. Redmond is home to Microsoft's headquarters, and Bellevue has become a secondary tech hub with a growing number of corporate offices. Opportunities outside the Seattle metro are limited for this specific function.
How to find corporate development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Washington?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking sponsored roles and filters corporate development manager positions in Washington by visa sponsorship eligibility. Because sponsorship for this function depends heavily on the employer's existing immigration infrastructure, focusing your search on companies with a verified track record of H-1B filings in strategic or M&A roles is a practical starting point.
Are there any Washington-specific considerations for corporate development manager candidates seeking sponsorship?
Washington's concentration of large technology and aerospace employers means many corporate development manager roles are tied to active M&A pipelines, which can influence hiring urgency and role availability. The state has no income tax, which affects overall compensation structuring. Prevailing wage requirements for H-1B filings apply based on the specific job location within Washington, so roles in Seattle and Bellevue may reflect different wage thresholds than positions elsewhere in the state.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored corporate development manager jobs in Washington?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
