Which companies sponsor visas for corporate development managers in Indiana?
Indiana's largest visa sponsors for corporate development roles include Eli Lilly, Cummins, Salesforce (Indianapolis hub), Anthem (now Elevance Health), and OneAmerica. These employers regularly file H-1B petitions for strategic planning and M&A functions. Smaller private equity-backed companies in Indianapolis also sponsor occasionally, though large public corporations with dedicated legal and HR infrastructure are the most consistent sponsors for this role.
Which visa types are most common for corporate development manager roles in Indiana?
The H-1B is the most common visa for corporate development managers in Indiana, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field, qualifying it as a specialty occupation. Candidates with prior U.S. employer relationships may also encounter L-1A intracompany transfers for managerial roles. Those with extraordinary achievement may qualify for the O-1, though this is less common in corporate development.
Which cities in Indiana have the most corporate development manager sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the overwhelming majority of corporate development manager sponsorship opportunities in Indiana, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, financial institutions, and healthcare companies. Carmel and Fishers, as Indianapolis suburbs with growing corporate campuses, also generate some demand. Fort Wayne and Bloomington see occasional openings, but Indianapolis remains the clear center for strategic and M&A-focused hiring in the state.
How to find corporate development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters corporate development manager roles in Indiana by visa sponsorship eligibility, saving you from sorting through postings that won't consider international candidates. You can browse current openings from Indiana employers who have a documented history of H-1B sponsorship, which is particularly useful for corporate development roles where sponsorship willingness varies significantly by company size and industry.
What state-specific factors should corporate development managers know about Indiana sponsorship hiring?
Indiana's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B corporate development roles are set by the Department of Labor based on the Indianapolis metropolitan statistical area, which generally reflects lower prevailing wages than coastal markets. This can make Indiana-based sponsorship more accessible for some employers. Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and Purdue's Krannert School supply local talent pipelines, so international candidates often compete with well-networked domestic graduates for the same roles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored corporate development manager jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
