Which companies in Nebraska sponsor visas for corporate development managers?
Omaha-headquartered companies with active international hiring histories include Berkshire Hathaway, Union Pacific, Mutual of Omaha, TD Ameritrade (now part of Charles Schwab), and Conagra Brands. These firms regularly file Labor Condition Applications for business and finance roles. Nebraska's healthcare sector, including Nebraska Medicine and CHI Health, also sponsors skilled professionals in strategic and operational management positions.
Which visa types are most common for corporate development manager roles in Nebraska?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for corporate development managers in Nebraska, as the role typically requires at least a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, meeting specialty occupation standards. Candidates with extraordinary achievement in M&A or strategy may qualify for the O-1A. Multinational professionals transferring within the same company can explore the L-1A for managerial roles.
How to find corporate development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Nebraska?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find corporate development manager openings in Nebraska without sorting through roles that don't support international candidates. You can narrow results to Nebraska and the corporate development function to surface relevant opportunities at Omaha-based finance, insurance, and industrial companies that have filed sponsorship applications in the past.
Which cities in Nebraska have the most corporate development manager sponsorship jobs?
Omaha accounts for the significant majority of corporate development manager opportunities in Nebraska, given its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and financial services firms. Lincoln has a smaller but growing presence, particularly tied to state government-adjacent industries and the University of Nebraska system. For international candidates, Omaha is the practical focus, with its established corporate infrastructure and history of skilled worker visa filings.
Are there any state-specific considerations for corporate development managers seeking sponsorship in Nebraska?
Nebraska's corporate development hiring is heavily tied to its finance and insurance sector, which means employers are generally familiar with H-1B processes for business roles. The state's lower cost of living relative to coastal markets can influence prevailing wage determinations, which employers must meet under Department of Labor rules. Candidates from University of Nebraska MBA programs occasionally transition into corporate development roles with local sponsoring employers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored corporate development manager jobs in Nebraska?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
