A bit about us:
Jobot is partnering with a well-established global provider of air pollution control and emissions management solutions in a search for a VP & General Manager to lead their Particulate Control platform. This is a highly visible executive role within a stable company with a strong growth mandate.
Why join us?
This is a rare platform leadership role with genuine scope — full global P&L ownership in a specialized, high-growth segment of the industrial environmental technology market. The business is large enough to be strategically meaningful, backed by a publicly traded parent with the resources to invest, yet focused enough that the right leader can make a measurable and lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
The VP & General Manager – Particulate Control Platform serves as the global business leader with full P&L ownership across a $75M–$200M+ portfolio of engineered air pollution control solutions, setting long-range strategy while translating it into annual operating plans and measurable growth targets. The role owns both the commercial engine — leading global sales across process and full operational accountability for manufacturing, project execution, and field services across multiple global locations. A core priority is driving margin expansion through disciplined pricing, lean transformation, and flawless delivery of complex engineered-to-order capital projects across dust collectors, baghouses, cyclones, scrubbers, and related technologies. The GM will also identify acquisition targets, lead integrations, and build the platform's presence in emerging geographies, while developing a high-performing global team and serving as the primary executive interface for key customers and senior corporate leadership.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field required; MBA strongly preferred.
Experience:
- 15+ years of progressive leadership in industrial, engineered systems, or environmental technologies.
- Proven P&L leadership at the business unit level, ideally $100M–$250M+ in revenue.
- Demonstrated expertise in industrial air pollution control, filtration, or closely related environments.
- Hands-on familiarity with the following technologies: dust collectors, baghouses, cyclones, electrostatic precipitators, scrubbers, thermal oxidizers, filtration systems, pneumatic conveying systems and damper systems.
- Industry exposure in one or more of: chemical/petrochemical, power generation, semiconductor/advanced manufacturing, or other heavy industrial sectors.
- M&A integration or portfolio transformation experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading global, cross-functional teams in complex operational environments.
Certifications & Skills:
- Lean / Continuous Improvement certification a plus (Six Sigma Black Belt, Toyota Production System, or equivalent).
- Strong strategic thinking, complex problem-solving, and executive communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, global organization with a bias for action and results.

Which companies in Oklahoma sponsor visas for corporate development managers?
Large publicly traded energy companies are the most consistent sponsors for corporate development manager roles in Oklahoma. Devon Energy, ONEOK, Williams Companies, and Chesapeake Energy have established international hiring programs and the legal infrastructure to support H-1B visa sponsorship. Healthcare systems like Integris Health and aerospace firms in the Tulsa corridor also hire at this level, though sponsorship frequency varies by organization size and hiring cycle.
Which visa types are most common for corporate development manager roles in Oklahoma?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for corporate development managers in Oklahoma, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in finance, business, or a related field, satisfying the specialty occupation requirement. Candidates with prior U.S. work authorization through OPT or STEM OPT sometimes transition into full H-1B sponsorship. Senior professionals with multinational employer backgrounds may qualify for an L-1A intracompany transferee visa.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most corporate development manager sponsorship jobs?
Oklahoma City accounts for the majority of corporate development manager sponsorship activity in the state, driven by its concentration of energy sector headquarters, financial services firms, and healthcare systems. Tulsa is a secondary hub, particularly for energy infrastructure and aerospace companies such as AECOM and American Airlines maintenance operations. Outside these two metros, sponsorship opportunities at this seniority level are limited.
How to find corporate development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate is a dedicated platform for international job seekers looking for visa sponsorship roles, including corporate development manager positions in Oklahoma. You can filter directly by state and role to see employers with active sponsorship history. Because corporate development hiring is relationship-driven and often confidential, checking Migrate Mate alongside direct outreach to Oklahoma City and Tulsa energy sector companies gives the most complete picture of available opportunities.
Are there state-specific considerations for corporate development managers seeking sponsorship in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma's corporate development hiring is heavily tied to commodity cycles in oil and gas, which means sponsorship activity can contract during energy downturns. The University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University produce finance and MBA graduates that some employers recruit domestically first, so international candidates benefit from positioning experience in M&A, due diligence, or capital markets that is scarce locally. The Department of Labor's prevailing wage requirements apply to all H-1B filings regardless of state.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored corporate development manager jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
