Which companies sponsor visas for executive assistants in Georgia?
Atlanta-based Fortune 500 companies are the most active sponsors for executive assistant roles in Georgia. Delta Air Lines, The Home Depot, UPS, NCR Voyix, and Intercontinental Exchange have sponsored administrative and executive support positions in the past. Large healthcare systems like Piedmont Healthcare and Emory Healthcare also hire executive assistants, though sponsorship frequency varies by role seniority and internal headcount needs.
Which visa types are most common for executive assistant roles in Georgia?
The H-1B visa is the most commonly used visa for executive assistants in Georgia, though approval depends on USCIS determining the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a specific field. The L-1B visa is another pathway, available to employees transferring within a multinational company into a specialized executive support role. The O-1A is rarely applicable unless the candidate has demonstrated extraordinary achievement.
Which cities in Georgia have the most executive assistant sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of executive assistant visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia. Buckhead and Midtown are the densest office corridors, housing corporate headquarters and financial services firms. Sandy Springs and Alpharetta, both suburbs north of Atlanta, have growing concentrations of technology and healthcare company offices that also post executive assistant roles with some regularity.
How to find executive assistant visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles where employers have demonstrated a history of visa sponsorship, making it more targeted than general job searches for executive assistant positions in Georgia. You can browse Georgia-specific executive assistant listings on Migrate Mate to identify which Atlanta-area employers are actively hiring. Filtering by role and state helps surface companies with real sponsorship patterns rather than those who rarely engage international candidates.
Are there state-specific factors that affect executive assistant sponsorship in Georgia?
Georgia's status as a major corporate hub, particularly for logistics, fintech, and media companies headquartered in Atlanta, creates more sponsorship opportunities for executive assistants than most southeastern states. Georgia does not have state-level visa programs, so all sponsorship follows federal processes. Candidates from universities like Georgia Tech or Emory on OPT sometimes transition into executive assistant roles at Atlanta companies before pursuing H-1B sponsorship through the annual lottery.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored executive assistant jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
