The Logistics Analyst supports Floor & Decor’s North American transportation network by managing inbound and outbound freight across DCs and vendors. This role is responsible for load planning, carrier selection and tendering, shipment tracking, appointment scheduling, exception management, and maintaining accurate data within the TMS. The position also analyzes freight performance, maintains carrier KPI scorecards, and partners with internal teams and transportation providers to improve service, control costs, and resolve issues impacting DCs and store locations.
Your Day Consists Of
- Providing daily logistics support for stores, DCs, and corporate partners
- Planning and managing inbound and outbound transportation across all modes (Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, Last Mile)
- Using Manhattan TMS and related tools to execute transportation plans and maintain shipment data
- Monitoring shipments, managing delays, and proactively resolving transportation exceptions
- Coordinating with Stores, DCs, Merchandising, Operations, and Inventory teams to support network flow
- Analyzing routing and freight data to identify cost savings and service improvements
- Tracking and reporting carrier performance using KPI scorecards and analytics tools
- Facilitating overage, shortage, and damage claims
- Supporting freight billing accuracy and invoice coding
- Managing freight quotes and participating in special projects as needed
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with transportation providers and internal stakeholders
You’ll Be Successful With
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain
- 1+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, distribution, or related fields
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- Working knowledge of transportation and supply chain principles
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
