JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process cash receipts, including deposits, logging receipts in Excel, and posting transactions in SAP.
- Research cash receipts in SAP, including payment history across multiple legal entities and bank accounts.
- Perform high-volume, repetitive data entry with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Research and resolve complex payment discrepancies.
- Prepare miscellaneous invoicing, including rebilling items between sister companies.
- Manually enter bank transactions.
- Prepare journal entries, including corrections and reclassifications.
- Maintain filing and supporting documentation as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar position.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Experience working with multiple currencies, including USD, EUR, CAD, and others.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong analytical thinking and proven problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization.
- Highly self-motivated and comfortable adapting to change and shifting priorities in a fast-moving team environment.
- Maintains a positive attitude when working under tight deadlines.
- Ability to remain focused under month-end closing pressure.
- Ability to receive constructive feedback and apply it to improve future work.
