INTRODUCTION
We’re seeking an organized and driven Human Resources Generalist to join a company on the Leeward side. In this role, you’ll play a key part in recruiting, onboarding, compliance, payroll, and supporting employees throughout their careers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting: source, interview, and help hire top talent by collaborating closely with department managers to understand their hiring needs.
- Conduct background checks and verify employment eligibility for all new hires.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and employee recognition programs to support a positive company culture.
- Administer HR programs such as payroll, benefits, leave management, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and talent development.
- Serve as a resource for employee and manager questions, escalating complex or sensitive matters as needed.
- Attend disciplinary meetings, terminations, and internal investigations as required.
- Stay updated on employment laws and best practices to ensure company compliance and make policy recommendations when needed.
- Monitor, track, and document compliance with required and optional training, continuing education, and work assessments (including safety and anti-harassment).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of payroll experience.
- SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
DESIRED SKILLS

- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Outstanding organization, time management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
