Which companies sponsor visas for revenue managers in Illinois?
Chicago-based hospitality groups, including Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Marriott-affiliated properties, have a documented history of sponsoring H-1B visas for revenue management roles. United Airlines, Walgreens Boots Alliance, and technology firms such as Salesforce and Morningstar also appear in Department of Labor LCA filings for revenue management and pricing analyst positions in Illinois. Sponsorship activity tends to concentrate in large, multinational organizations with dedicated HR and immigration infrastructure.
Which visa types are most common for revenue manager roles in Illinois?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for revenue managers in Illinois, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in finance, economics, business analytics, or a related field, satisfying the specialty occupation standard. Candidates with exceptional credentials may also qualify under the O-1A. Those transitioning from F-1 OPT, particularly graduates of Chicago-area programs at Northwestern University or University of Chicago, frequently pursue H-1B sponsorship through their first employer.
How to find revenue manager visa sponsorship jobs in Illinois?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship willingness, making it easier to identify Illinois employers actively open to sponsoring revenue manager candidates rather than sifting through roles that exclude international applicants. Focusing your search on Chicago's hospitality corridor, airline and logistics companies headquartered in the metro area, and enterprise software firms narrows results to employers with the organizational capacity to support an H-1B petition.
Which cities in Illinois have the most revenue manager sponsorship jobs?
Chicago accounts for the overwhelming majority of revenue manager sponsorship opportunities in Illinois. The Loop and River North neighborhoods concentrate corporate headquarters, while the O'Hare corridor hosts airline, logistics, and hospitality employers with active sponsorship programs. Rosemont, adjacent to O'Hare International Airport, is a secondary cluster given its concentration of hotel and convention properties. Outside the Chicago metro, sponsorship activity for this role is limited.
Are there state-specific considerations for revenue manager candidates pursuing sponsorship in Illinois?
Illinois does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal standards, but the Department of Labor's prevailing wage determinations for Cook County, which covers Chicago, reflect a high-cost metropolitan market. Employers must certify on the Labor Condition Application that the offered position meets the prevailing wage for the specific role and geographic area. Candidates should also be aware that Chicago's hospitality sector experiences seasonal hiring cycles, with many properties initiating sponsorship processes in Q1 for peak summer and convention-season staffing needs.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored revenue manager jobs in Illinois?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
