You’ll get to play party planner by helping guests order the right cake for their celebrations and making sure their orders go off without a hitch. By handcrafting the cake decorations, you get to be a part of the joy that our guests experience whenever they enjoy our decorated cakes. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to count money and use a cash register
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to read and follow directions
Job responsibilities include:
- Greeting guests and providing excellent customer service
- Money handling with operation of a cash register
- Answering phones
- Processing pre-paid orders
- Ticket management and bagging orders
- Assisting guests in choosing decorations and retail items for gifting
- Crafting and applying cake decorations
- Using FIFO to restock and rotate cakes
- General cleaning and upkeep of the front of house area
- Other miscellaneous tasks
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, bending, or stooping for up to 8 hours
- Use a step stool to reach and retrieve light boxes on higher shelves
- Occasionally lift trays up to 20 lbs
