Which companies sponsor visas for customer program managers in Indiana?
Indianapolis-headquartered employers with documented H-1B sponsorship histories for customer-facing program management roles include Eli Lilly, Salesforce's Indiana offices, Cummins, and Anthem (now Elevance Health). Technology services firms and consulting companies operating out of Indianapolis and Carmel also appear regularly in Department of Labor disclosure data for this role category.
Which visa types are most common for customer program manager roles in Indiana?
The H-1B is the most common visa for customer program managers in Indiana, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field, qualifying it as a specialty occupation. L-1B visas are also used when candidates transfer intracompany. TN visas may apply for Canadian or Mexican nationals if the role aligns with an eligible USMCA category.
Which cities in Indiana have the most customer program manager sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis concentrates the majority of customer program manager sponsorship opportunities in Indiana, driven by its corporate headquarters, tech sector, and healthcare industry presence. Carmel and Fishers, as growing Indianapolis suburbs with significant employer campuses, also generate openings. Fort Wayne and Bloomington produce a smaller but consistent share, particularly in manufacturing and university-adjacent industries.
How to find customer program manager visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find customer program manager roles in Indiana without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can search by state and role type to surface relevant openings from Indiana employers who have indicated willingness to sponsor, saving significant time compared to unfiltered job searches.
Are there any Indiana-specific considerations for customer program managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Indiana's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B filings are determined by the Department of Labor based on the specific metropolitan statistical area, so wages for Indianapolis differ from those in Fort Wayne or Bloomington. The state's strong life sciences and advanced manufacturing sectors mean customer program manager roles often require industry-specific knowledge, which can strengthen a specialty occupation determination during the H-1B petition process.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer program manager jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
