Which companies sponsor visas for program supervisors in Indiana?
Indiana University Health, Eskenazi Health, Centerstone, and Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana are among the employers that have sponsored international workers for supervisory roles. State agencies and federally funded nonprofits in Indiana frequently file Labor Condition Applications for program management positions, particularly in healthcare, behavioral health, and social services sectors.
Which visa types are most common for program supervisor roles in Indiana?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for program supervisor roles in Indiana, provided the position qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as social work, public health, or human services. Some roles at nonprofits may qualify for H-1B cap-exempt status if the employer meets the criteria. TN visas apply to Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible professional categories.
Which cities in Indiana have the most program supervisor sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the largest share of program supervisor sponsorship activity in Indiana, driven by its concentration of hospital systems, nonprofits, and state government offices. Fort Wayne and Bloomington also see meaningful hiring, with Bloomington influenced by Indiana University's research and community health programs. South Bend has emerging activity tied to healthcare expansion and social service organizations in the region.
How to find program supervisor visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search program supervisor roles in Indiana without sorting through positions that don't sponsor. The platform surfaces roles from healthcare systems, nonprofits, and government-affiliated employers across Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, and Bloomington, making it practical for international candidates to identify employers actively willing to file petitions for supervisory positions.
Are there state-specific considerations for program supervisor visa sponsorship in Indiana?
Indiana has a strong nonprofit and healthcare sector that relies on federally funded programs, which can make cap-exempt H-1B pathways relevant for certain employers. Supervisory roles often require licensure in fields like social work or counseling, and employers will typically want that credential resolved before or alongside visa filing. Indiana University and Purdue University also generate a pipeline of international candidates who transition into program supervisor roles after completing degrees in public health, education, or human services.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored program supervisor jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
