Which companies sponsor visas for project coordinators in Indiana?
Indiana's largest visa-sponsoring employers for project coordinator roles include Eli Lilly, Salesforce, Cummins, and Rolls-Royce, along with major healthcare systems such as Indiana University Health. Manufacturing and logistics firms in the Indianapolis metro and Fort Wayne areas also appear regularly in Department of Labor LCA filings for project coordinator and related positions.
Which visa types are most common for project coordinator roles in Indiana?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for project coordinator roles in Indiana, provided the position is classified as a specialty occupation requiring a related bachelor's degree or higher. Candidates with degrees in engineering, business, information systems, or supply chain management are generally better positioned to meet that standard. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupational categories.
Which cities in Indiana have the most project coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the largest share of project coordinator sponsorship activity in Indiana, driven by its concentration of life sciences, tech, and healthcare employers. Columbus stands out for advanced manufacturing through Cummins. Fort Wayne has a growing manufacturing and logistics base, and Bloomington sees activity tied to Indiana University's research operations and affiliated organizations.
How to find project coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search project coordinator roles in Indiana without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. The platform surfaces employers actively hiring for these roles in Indiana's manufacturing, life sciences, and logistics sectors, saving significant time compared to unfiltered searches.
Are there any Indiana-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for project coordinators?
Indiana's strong manufacturing and life sciences industries mean project coordinator roles here often require technical backgrounds in engineering or operations, which can strengthen an H-1B specialty occupation case. Indiana University, Purdue University, and Notre Dame produce a steady pipeline of international graduates in relevant fields, and some of their affiliated employers have established sponsorship track records in the state.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project coordinator jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
