Which companies sponsor visas for service coordinators in Kentucky?
Louisville-based Humana is among the most active sponsors for care coordination and service-related roles in Kentucky. Regional healthcare systems including Norton Healthcare and Baptist Health, along with logistics operators in the Louisville corridor, have also filed LCAs for service coordinator positions. Sponsorship availability shifts with hiring cycles, so checking current filings through the Department of Labor's OFLC disclosure data gives the most accurate picture.
Which visa types are most common for service coordinator roles in Kentucky?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for service coordinator roles where the position requires a relevant bachelor's degree, such as healthcare administration, social work, or a related specialty occupation field. TN status is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. Candidates already holding OPT or STEM OPT authorization through a Kentucky university often enter these roles before an employer initiates H-1B sponsorship.
Which cities in Kentucky have the most service coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Louisville concentrates the largest share of service coordinator sponsorship activity in Kentucky, driven by its healthcare sector, insurance industry anchored by Humana, and freight and logistics operations near the UPS Worldport hub. Lexington is the second most active market, with University of Kentucky Health and regional human services agencies generating demand. Smaller markets like Bowling Green and Owensboro have occasional openings but far fewer sponsorship opportunities.
How to find service coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in Kentucky?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates and filters service coordinator jobs in Kentucky by visa sponsorship status, so you are not sorting through postings from employers who do not sponsor. Because service coordinator roles in Kentucky span healthcare, disability services, and logistics, using Migrate Mate's role and location filters helps you identify which sectors are actively hiring and which employers have a documented history of filing sponsorship petitions.
Are there state-specific considerations for service coordinator sponsorship in Kentucky?
Kentucky's disability services sector, governed in part by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, employs a significant number of service coordinators under Medicaid waiver programs. Employers in this sector must meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements when sponsoring H-1B workers, and wages are benchmarked to the Louisville or Lexington metropolitan areas depending on worksite location. University of Kentucky and University of Louisville both produce social work and healthcare administration graduates who form part of the regional talent pipeline employers draw from.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored service coordinator jobs in Kentucky?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
