ROLE
We are hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team for Full time or part time hours. At VCA Rotherwood, we encourage and support employee growth and development, with training and development plans that combine theoretical knowledge and practical skill development.
COMPENSATION
- Compensation: $19 - $24 / hr dependent on skill set, and experience
- Schedule: Full time. Varies, includes Saturdays

- Efficient and accurate use of electronic medical records and practice management software
- Supporting the DVM team with patient appointments, taking accurate histories, providing treatments, and assisting with procedures
- Safe patient restraint, phlebotomy skills, hands-free radiology
- Surgery preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and patient post-op care
- Commitment to training and development of new team members
