Which companies in Massachusetts sponsor visas for partnerships manager roles?
Boston-area technology companies have a strong track record of H-1B visa sponsorship for business development and partnerships positions. HubSpot, Wayfair, and Rapid7 have sponsored partnerships-adjacent roles in recent years, as have larger employers like Fidelity Investments and Biogen for partner-facing positions within their ecosystems. Enterprise software firms and SaaS companies concentrated in the Seaport and Kendall Square areas tend to sponsor more frequently than smaller startups.
Which visa types are most common for partnerships manager jobs in Massachusetts?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for partnerships manager roles in Massachusetts, provided the position qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field, such as business, marketing, or communications. Some candidates from Australia qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian or Mexican nationals may be eligible under TN visa status in the Business category, which covers management consultants and economists when the role aligns.
How to find partnerships manager visa sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate filters partnerships manager roles specifically by sponsorship willingness and state, making it straightforward to browse verified Massachusetts opportunities without sorting through employers unlikely to sponsor. Because partnerships manager positions vary widely in scope, from channel management to strategic alliances, using Migrate Mate's role-specific search helps match your background to employers in Boston's technology and life sciences sectors that have an active history of visa sponsorship.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most partnerships manager sponsorship jobs?
Boston and Cambridge account for the large majority of partnerships manager sponsorship opportunities in Massachusetts, driven by concentrations of SaaS companies, biotech firms, and financial technology employers. The Seaport District and Kendall Square are particularly active. Waltham and Burlington along the Route 128 corridor also host mid-to-large technology companies that hire for channel and strategic partnerships roles and have sponsored international employees.
Are there any Massachusetts-specific considerations for partnerships manager visa sponsorship?
Massachusetts employers filing H-1B petitions for partnerships manager roles must meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements, which in the Boston metropolitan area reflect a high-cost market. The state's dense university network, including MIT, Harvard, and Northeastern, supplies a pipeline of international graduates on OPT who pursue partnerships roles and need employer sponsorship before their work authorization expires. Life sciences and enterprise software companies in Massachusetts are generally more experienced with sponsorship processes than employers in other industries.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnerships manager jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
