Which companies sponsor visas for solution managers in Massachusetts?
Massachusetts-based technology and enterprise software companies are among the most active sponsors for solution manager roles. MathWorks in Natick, Akamai Technologies in Cambridge, Salesforce, HubSpot, and Thermo Fisher Scientific have all filed Labor Condition Applications for similar roles. Financial services firms in Boston, including State Street and Fidelity Investments, also sponsor solution managers with specialized technical expertise.
Which visa types are most common for solution manager roles in Massachusetts?
The H-1B is the most common visa for solution managers in Massachusetts, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or business. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3 as a direct alternative. Candidates already holding L-1B intracompany transferee status through multinational employers like IBM or Accenture, which have significant Massachusetts operations, sometimes transition into solution manager positions through that pathway.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most solution manager sponsorship jobs?
Boston accounts for the largest share of solution manager sponsorship activity in Massachusetts, driven by its concentration of enterprise software, biotech, and financial services companies. Cambridge follows closely, anchored by technology and life sciences firms near MIT and Harvard. Waltham and Burlington along the Route 128 corridor are also significant hubs, home to established technology employers that regularly hire and sponsor international candidates.
How to find solution manager visa sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates searching for visa-sponsored roles, including solution manager positions in Massachusetts. You can filter by state and role to see employers actively listing sponsored openings. Because solution manager titles vary across companies, searching related terms on Migrate Mate helps surface relevant opportunities across Boston, Cambridge, and the Route 128 corridor that explicitly support visa sponsorship.
Are there state-specific considerations for solution managers seeking sponsorship in Massachusetts?
Massachusetts has a strong university pipeline through MIT, Boston University, Northeastern, and Harvard, which means employers are accustomed to hiring international talent and navigating H-1B sponsorship. The state's prevailing wage requirements for sponsored roles are set by the Department of Labor based on the Boston-Cambridge-Nashua metropolitan area, which reflects one of the higher wage tiers in the country. Candidates should expect employers to verify that the offered compensation meets those DOL-determined prevailing wage levels.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored solution manager jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
