Large employers with significant New Jersey operations are among the most active sponsors for solution manager roles. These include Cognizant, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Johnson & Johnson, Prudential Financial, and Merck. Enterprise technology firms and management consulting companies operating out of Newark and Jersey City also regularly file H-1B visa petitions for solution manager positions requiring specialized technical or business expertise.
Which visa types are most common for solution manager roles in New Jersey?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for solution managers in New Jersey, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information systems, or business. Candidates already authorized under OPT or STEM OPT can work while their employer files an H-1B petition. The L-1A visa applies for those transferring into a managerial solution role from an overseas office of the same company.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most solution manager sponsorship jobs?
Newark and Jersey City account for the highest concentration of solution manager roles in New Jersey, driven by financial services firms and technology consultancies with offices near the New York metropolitan corridor. Parsippany, Iselin, and Bridgewater are also active hiring centers, particularly for pharmaceutical and enterprise software companies. Edison sees consistent postings from IT services firms that maintain large delivery centers in Middlesex County.
How to find solution manager visa sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?

This saves considerable time compared to manually reviewing postings that rarely disclose sponsorship status upfront.
Are there any state-specific considerations for solution manager visa sponsorship in New Jersey?
New Jersey's proximity to New York City means solution manager roles often fall under the Department of Labor's New York metropolitan area prevailing wage determinations, which can be higher than state averages. Employers must certify on the Labor Condition Application that they will pay the prevailing wage for the role's location. New Jersey also has a dense university pipeline, including Rutgers University, which supplies graduate talent that competing applicants may bring to the same roles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored solution manager jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
