Summary of Position:
The Managed Field Services Sales Associate is responsible for driving revenue growth within an assigned book of existing customers and approved prospect accounts. This role does not require independent lead generation. Instead, the associate focuses on proactive outreach, cold calling within assigned accounts, discovery conversations, relationship development, and closing Managed Field Services opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assigned Account & Customer Outreach:
- Manage a defined portfolio of existing customer accounts and select prospect accounts provided by Granite.
- Conduct outbound outreach—including cold calls, emails, and follow-ups—within assigned accounts to uncover MFS opportunities.
- Proactively engage decision-makers to expand relationships and identify Managed Field Services needs.
- Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships across multiple locations.
Sales Engagement & Discovery:
- Conduct discovery calls to understand customer operational challenges, service gaps, and field support requirements.
- Position Granite's Managed Field Services as solutions to improve service delivery, response time, and operational efficiency.
- Deliver clear, value-based messaging aligned with customer business objectives.
Meeting Coordination & Sales Team Support:
- Qualify opportunities within assigned accounts and coordinate meetings with senior sales leadership when appropriate.
- Provide detailed handoffs including scope, urgency, key stakeholders, and recommended next steps.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to support deal progression and closing.
Closing & Revenue Generation:
- Lead sales discussions, presentations, and negotiations for MFS opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Develop and present customized proposals aligned with customer requirements and service feasibility.
- Address objections and close deals independently or in partnership with leadership.
- Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within the existing customer base.
CRM & Sales Process Management:
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, opportunities, and deal status in Salesforce CRM.
- Track activity, pipeline progression, and closed revenue to support forecasting and performance reporting.
Solutions You Will Sell:
- Managed Field Services (nationwide dispatch, on-site support, multi-location coverage)
- Telecommunications and network field services
- Infrastructure support for voice, data, video, security, and wireless solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of B2B sales, account management, or customer-facing experience.
- Proven ability to conduct outbound outreach and cold calling within assigned accounts.
- Strong communication, discovery, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to translate service-based or technical offerings into customer value.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Organized, motivated, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.

Compensation Range:
This is a commission-eligible role with an estimated second-year OTE range of $60,000-$180,000 (base + uncapped commission). This role offers strong earning potential for driven individuals in a high-impact sales environment. Top performers may exceed the posted range.
