Which companies sponsor visas for enterprise account executives in Michigan?
Michigan employers with documented H-1B visa sponsorship histories include Stryker, Dow, Rocket Companies, and automotive software firms in the Detroit metro area. Healthcare IT companies based in Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor also sponsor regularly. Sponsorship is more common at larger enterprises than at regional or independent sales organizations, where the legal overhead is harder to justify for individual contributors.
Which visa types are most common for enterprise account executive roles in Michigan?
The H-1B is the most common visa for enterprise account executives in Michigan, provided the role requires a specialized degree in business, marketing, or a technical field. Canadians and Mexicans may qualify for the TN visa under the NAFTA/USMCA professional categories. Australians holding an E-3 visa can also work in qualifying sales roles. The specific visa depends on your nationality, degree, and how the employer defines the position.
Which cities in Michigan have the most enterprise account executive sponsorship jobs?
Detroit and its suburbs, including Troy, Dearborn, and Southfield, account for the largest share of enterprise sales roles in Michigan, driven by automotive technology, finance, and professional services. Ann Arbor attracts sponsoring employers in software and life sciences, partly through its university connections. Grand Rapids has a growing healthcare technology sector where enterprise account executive roles with sponsorship appear with increasing frequency.
How to find enterprise account executive visa sponsorship jobs in Michigan?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship, so you can search enterprise account executive roles in Michigan without sifting through positions that don't support international candidates. The platform surfaces employers who have sponsored before, which is one of the stronger signals that a company is open to sponsoring again. Filtering by Michigan and the enterprise sales category on Migrate Mate narrows the field considerably compared to general job searches.
Are there any Michigan-specific considerations for enterprise account executive visa sponsorship?
Michigan's sponsoring employers in automotive technology and manufacturing software tend to expect enterprise sales candidates with technical fluency, since the products often require explaining complex integrations to procurement teams. The Department of Labor's prevailing wage determination applies to all H-1B petitions, so employers must confirm your compensation meets the regional standard for the role. Ann Arbor's University of Michigan pipeline also means competition for sponsored roles can be significant.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored enterprise account executive jobs in Michigan?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
