Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license, or willingness to obtain one within 14 days of hire
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Previous customer service or sales experience preferred, insurance industry experience a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
- Proficient with computers, email, and general office software
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work standard business hours (Monday–Friday)
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries from current and prospective clients in a professional, friendly manner
- Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist clients with billing questions, payment processing, and account updates
- Review coverage with clients and identify opportunities for additional products (auto, home, life, umbrella, etc.)
- Handle first notice of loss (FNOL) and guide clients through the initial claims process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system
- Follow up on outstanding documentation needed for underwriting (e.g., inspections, verification letters, signed forms)
- Support the agent and sales team with quoting, cross-selling, and account rounding
- Ensure compliance with state insurance regulations and company policies
- Provide a positive client experience that supports retention and referrals
