Job Description

Ready to make a real difference in patient care? As a Lab Assistant-Specimen Collector, you'll be the friendly face patients see when they need blood work done. Here's what you'll be doing:
- Master the art of phlebotomy – Collect blood samples with skill and confidence, performing this essential task for at least 25% of your scheduled hours
- Keep things moving smoothly – Handle specimen processing, order entry, and point-of-care testing to keep our lab running like a well-oiled machine
- Be the logistics pro – Transport laboratory specimens and materials safely and efficiently throughout the facility
- Create great patient experiences – Interact with patients, laboratory staff, and caregivers with genuine warmth, professionalism, and a reassuring demeanor
- Follow the playbook – Execute all laboratory support procedures according to established protocols while working independently with minimal supervision

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
