JOB SUMMARY
Position requires ability to provide daily and deep seasonal cleaning services. Will provide guest shuttle as needed upon request. Position requires attention to detail and ability to work both indoors and outdoors as needed with seasonal shifts in cleaning needs of public spaces.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain public interior public areas of resort buildings to include: dust, polish and wipe down flat surfaces, vacuum, mop and buff floors, clean and wash windows and glass surfaced.
- Train new employees and ensure current employees are upholding standards.
- Insure proper staffing levels to meet budget and service goals.
- Drive guest shuttle as needed.
- Ensure assigned work orders for general repair are completed within assigned time frame in order to achieve the utmost operational efficiency of the resort and its equipment.
- Performs regular inspections of both vehicle fleet and hotel public spaces to ensure that everything is in working order. Report any possible malfunctions or depreciation to the appropriate departments.
- Assists department in maintaining safety equipment and emergency procedures for the safety of all guests and employees.
- Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous manner at all times.
- Carpet care program includes 2-3 interim methods (spring clean, dry powder, etc.) before extraction.
- Provides assistance to other employees and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the resort.
- Comply with information provided by Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and other safety doctrines.
- Supervise Facilities Staff, assign tasks and facilitate the hiring and disciplinary process.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must display very good organization and time management skills.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities.
- Must have sound judgment and discretional skills and work with little or no supervision.
- Must be able to consistently work under pressure and simultaneously prioritize multiple projects.
- Clear and concise verbal communication skills.
- Self-directed and able to maximize use of time, resources and technology.
- Able to analyze, interpret and present data in various formats.
- Dependable and meets goals.
- Exemplifies professional conduct and adherence to company Core Values.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prefer at least two (2) years of related general repair experience.
PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information.
- Ability to bend, squat, climb, push and pull.
- Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
- Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.
- Must have unrestricted and insurable Michigan driving record.
- Non-smoking candidates preferred.
