SUMMARY
Spanish Peaks Mountain Club is seeking a polished, highly organized, and creative Communications Manager to support the General Manager and leadership team through strategic communication, administrative coordination, and executive-level support.
This position plays a key role in shaping internal and external communications while helping maintain alignment across departments during an exciting period of growth and operational evolution, including the continued expansion of the Aspire amenity experience. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator with strong attention to detail, hospitality professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced luxury private club environment.
This role combines communications leadership with select Executive Assistant responsibilities in direct support of the General Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Communications & Brand Management
- Develop and distribute internal communications to associates and leadership teams, including announcements, newsletters, operational updates, and special initiatives
- Assist with member-facing communications, ensuring messaging aligns with club standards and brand expectations
- Draft presentations, talking points, agendas, reports, and leadership correspondence on behalf of the General Manager
- Maintain consistency in tone, formatting, branding, and communication standards across departments
- Coordinate communication calendars for club events, operational updates, and leadership messaging
- Support social media and LinkedIn communication efforts for recruiting, culture initiatives, and club storytelling as needed
- Assist in creating promotional materials, flyers, signage, PowerPoint presentations, and digital content
- Help coordinate photography, video content, and storytelling initiatives showcasing the club experience and associate culture
- Support crisis communication or operational communication needs during emergencies, weather events, or service interruptions
Executive Assistant Support to the General Manager
- Manage and coordinate the General Manager’s calendar, meetings, travel arrangements, and scheduling priorities
- Prepare meeting materials, presentations, and follow-up documentation for leadership meetings and club initiatives
- Take detailed meeting notes and track action items for executive and departmental meetings
- Assist with confidential correspondence, organizational updates, and leadership communications
- Coordinate logistics for leadership visits, executive interviews, owner meetings, and special events
- Organize files, reports, contracts, and administrative documentation in a highly professional and confidential manner
- Serve as a liaison between the General Manager and departmental leaders to ensure timely follow-up and communication flow
- Assist in tracking projects, deadlines, and operational initiatives across the club
Leadership & Culture Support
- Help promote and reinforce the club’s culture, service philosophy, and associate engagement initiatives
- Support recognition programs, associate events, and leadership communication strategies
- Assist with onboarding communication and executive-level presentations for new leaders and managers
- Partner with Human Resources and department leaders on communication-related initiatives and organizational messaging
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in communications, executive administration, hospitality operations, or related field preferred
- Luxury hospitality, private club, resort, or lifestyle brand experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms, or communication software preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with leadership, associates, members, and guests
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work in both office and club operational environments
- Must be able to navigate various areas of the property, including stairs and outdoor spaces in varying weather conditions
- Ability to occasionally work evenings, weekends, or holidays based on club events and operational needs
