Position Description:
Title: Human Resources Assistant
Summary: As the Human Resources Assistant, you will play a vital role in the Human Resources Department. Assisting with many duties including onboarding, employee relations, company swag and more!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities included, but not limited to:
- Send weekly emails to managers regarding employee birthdays and anniversaries
- Assist in planning company events, such as picnics, parties, and lunches
- Onboard new employees
- Managing company swag inventory
- Assist with i-9 and e-verifying processing
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal laws
- Assist employees with forms, policies, and general HR processes
- Enter and update employee data in HRIS (ADP)
- Assist the Human Resources team in any need that may arise
- All other duties assigned
Education & Experience:
- Preferred degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration, or other related field
- Preferred one year of HR experience or an internship related directly to HR
- Preferred experience with ADP
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Takes initiative and is self-motivating
- Significant ability to multi-task
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- This role in office M-F, 8-5, seated at a desk for most of the time
