Which visa types are most common for director of project management roles in Nebraska?

Omaha accounts for the large majority of director of project management visa sponsorship activity in Nebraska. It is home to major corporate headquarters in financial services, transportation, and healthcare. How to find director of project management visa sponsorship jobs in Nebraska?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship, and filters director of project management roles by state so you can focus on Nebraska opportunities directly. Because sponsorship for director-level roles depends heavily on employer size and internal approval processes, searching Migrate Mate lets you identify Nebraska employers with a documented history of sponsoring this role rather than applying broadly.
Are there any Nebraska-specific considerations for director of project management visa sponsorship?
Nebraska's sponsoring employers are concentrated in a small number of large industries, so the pool of active sponsors is narrower than in coastal tech hubs. Director-level roles require employers to demonstrate prevailing wage compliance under Department of Labor standards for senior management occupations. The University of Nebraska system and healthcare networks like Nebraska Medicine also serve as pipeline employers that have supported international hires at the director level.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director of project management jobs in Nebraska?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
