Key Responsibilities:
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations for dining, entertainment, outdoor recreation, and local attractions
- Secure reservations, tickets, and transportation for guests upon request
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resort amenities, events, and local happenings
- Act as a liaison between guests and other hotel departments to ensure a seamless experience
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, both in person and via phone or email, with professionalism and warmth
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby presence at all times
- Assist with special requests such as floral arrangements, gift deliveries, or milestone celebrations
- Document guest interactions and preferences to enhance future visits
Qualifications
- Previous guest service experience required; concierge or front desk experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of the Lake Tahoe area, including restaurants, activities, and seasonal events
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Proficiency in computer systems and ability to learn Hyatt-specific platforms
- A genuine desire to make guests feel special and supported throughout their stay
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
