Which agriculture companies sponsor Green Card visas in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire's Green Card sponsorship activity in agriculture comes primarily from dairy operations, nursery and greenhouse growers, and organic farming enterprises. Larger dairy farms and cooperatives in Merrimack and Hillsborough counties have filed PERM labor certifications for experienced farm managers and livestock specialists. Smaller specialty crop farms occasionally sponsor through the EB-3 unskilled or skilled worker categories depending on the role's requirements.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most agriculture Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Concord, Manchester, and the Monadnock region around Keene tend to concentrate the most agricultural employment in New Hampshire. The Connecticut River Valley corridor, stretching through Sullivan and Cheshire counties, supports a notable number of vegetable and orchard operations where sponsored positions occasionally arise. Rural areas near Laconia in Belknap County also have dairy and livestock operations that have historically sought long-term workers eligible for permanent residence sponsorship.
What types of agriculture roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in New Hampshire?
Roles that qualify most often include farm managers, agricultural supervisors, irrigation specialists, dairy herd managers, and crop production technicians. Positions requiring specialized knowledge, such as integrated pest management coordinators or greenhouse operations managers, can qualify under EB-2 if a master's degree or its equivalent is required. More general skilled farm worker positions typically follow the EB-3 skilled worker pathway, which requires at least two years of training or experience documented through the PERM process.
How do I find agriculture Green Card sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship type, so you can search for agriculture Green Card opportunities in New Hampshire without sorting through roles that don't offer permanent residence sponsorship. The platform lists positions from farms, cooperatives, and agribusinesses that have indicated willingness to sponsor, covering categories from dairy and crop production to agricultural management. Filtering by New Hampshire and the Agriculture and Farming industry tag returns the most relevant results.
Are there any state-specific or industry-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in New Hampshire agriculture?
New Hampshire's relatively small agricultural sector means Green Card sponsorship opportunities are less frequent than in larger farming states, and most PERM filings originate from established operations rather than seasonal employers. The state has no dedicated agricultural immigration program, so all sponsorship follows federal pathways including PERM labor certification under EB-2 or EB-3. Workers should note that PERM requires the employer to demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role before the petition can proceed.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card agriculture jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
