- Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to others within department.
- Creatively develops techniques to understand and solve challenging customer problems.
- Researches and identifies new test methods and processes to understand customer needs and create solutions.
- Conducts trials on production and prototype equipment.
- Documents results and prepares reports.
- Approves and implements new procedures.
- Expands internal testing and process capabilities.
- Supports multiple projects across various business categories and operations.
- Shares knowledge and provides mentoring and training.
Non-essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Participates in external technical organizations and groups
- Other duties may be assigned or required for the performance of this position
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE (MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS):
- Associates Degree in Technical field (can be substituted with certificate and/or additional equivalent related work experience).
- 8 years’ Technician experience with degree, 9+ years without a degree.
- Minitab; expert level.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and train others.
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively and achieve project results on cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional time management, interpersonal, and communications skills.
